Cross-country trails from the doorstep, alpine ski resorts in minutes and the famous speed skating arena: Inzell in the Chiemgau is one of the most beautiful winter destinations in the Bavarian Alps — for families, athletes and those who travel with a dog.
When Inzell turns into a winter landscape, the most beautiful season begins for many of our guests. Our family holiday house Bergzeit Inzell at 693 m sits right in the heart of it — and yet quietly, with a view of the snow-covered Chiemgau Alps. After an active day, the private sauna and the warm living area are waiting for you.
Cross-country skiing right at the door
Inzell is a paradise for cross-country skiers: a wide, perfectly groomed trail network for classic and skating technique runs around the village. A floodlit trail makes laps possible after dark too. The trail entries are just a few minutes away from our house.
Skiing & sledding in the region
Family-friendly slopes can be found at the Inzeller Kessel with snowtubing and practice slopes. Larger ski resorts such as Winklmoosalm/Steinplatte, Lofer or Saalbach-Hinterglemm are a short drive away. Natural-snow toboggan runs round off the winter day.
Speed skating at the Max Aicher Arena
Inzell is world-famous for the Max Aicher Arena — one of the fastest speed skating rinks in the world and a regular venue for World and European Championships. Ice skating and Bavarian curling are also possible for guests — an experience for the whole family.
